STUDENT GOVERNMENT
I am a leader in Broward Virtual School's Student Government Association. This role grants me the opportunity to take on responsilbilites that teach me how to advocate, compromise, and turn ideas into reality.
PHILOSOPHY CLUB
In Philosophy Club at American Heritage School, I learned about various philosophical notions, both old and new. Through the club's Socratic seminars and lectures, I learned not to limit my world view, but rather, open my mind to different perspectives and ideas.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
My acceptance to National Honor Society is a major academic affirmation for me! It is amazing to see my determination, perserverance, and efforts become tangible.
BLACK STUDENT UNION (BSU)
BSU at American Heritage School was one of the many experiences that pushed me to ponder the representation of African Americans in media, strengthening my desire to contribute to stories that are considerate and honest.
CREATIVE WRITING CLUB
Creative writing is one of my many passions! I believe the impact of stories have the ability to be life-changing. Creative Writing Club is an incredible experience for me, and improved my writing exponentially. This club also helps publisize my literary journal, The Open Margin.
South Florida Leadership Training Camp (SFLTC)

My time at SFLTC allowed me to grow as both a leader and collaborator. Through interactive workshops and team-based activities, I strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills while learning from students with diverse perspectives. The experience challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and reinforced the importance of serving my community with confidence and purpose.
