AMBITIONS

One of my greatest passions is collecting low-circulation vintage comic books, themed around the first appearances of the superheroes and villains I love. Building a collection requires extensive research into historical significance, print runs, market demand, and condition grading. Of course, I have the virtue of patience and conviction to go through market shifts. Over time, I began to recognize the parallels between comic book collecting and volatile investing, which lies in identifying under-appreciated assets, understanding scarcity, managing risk, and prioritizing long-term growth over short-term trends.

I created The Open Margin, a literary journal for high school students to submit to. I wanted to create this journal for students to submit their stories without the pressure of scholarships, awards, or notoriety. Through the creation of the journal, I have learned how to create a website, logo, and brand.

I acted in a student film directed by a University of Miami student entitled "Bleach Burns." During my time on the structured set, I maintained a professional and collaborative attitude. This glimpse of being an actor made me realize I wanted to be behind the scenes, combining both logic with creativity. This sparked my ambition to work in the world of finance at a big movie studio.
